This week in Stockholm, during #WWW2024, Shannon Quinn, P&G Global Water Stewardship Leader, spoke alongside our partner, Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF), and Microsoft to share insights into our water restoration projects across the American Southwest.Water is one of the key pillars upon which our Ambition 2030 is built, and we’re focused on addressing water challenges within 18 water-stressed areas around the world where we operate — not only because there is a need, but also because we know it's where we can make the biggest difference. #ItsOurHome #WorldWaterWeek

Los Angeles ➡️ LondonThis #WorldWaterWeek2024, we're delighted to announce our participation in 50L Home Coalition's upcoming pilot project in London!The pilot will bring together leaders from various industries to showcase existing consumer and non-commercial technologies that aim to reduce urban water usage in homes and the energy required for hot water, while learning how those changes can help improve consumers' lives in London, throughout Europe and beyond. Homes in the pilot will be retrofitted with water and energy-saving products, appliances and fixtures.The London pilot will build upon the insights gained from our project in Los Angeles, which we helped launch a year ago in collaboration with the U.S. Green Building Council California, IKEA, Kohler Co., and Electrolux Group. Preliminary and partial results have shown that, after 7 months, the Test group has reduced their total indoor water usage by 19% and their hot water usage by 11%, compared to their previous consumption, and each by 24%, compared to the Control group. Here, Steve and Rikke share their experience.These pilots aim to develop innovations in an integrated and holistic manner to create a path toward scaled superior water and energy efficiency. Meet Mike — a father of five featured in the documentary, "Our Blue World – A Water Odyssey." Mike and his family volunteered to participate in our "Connected Homes" research in the U.S., which uses sensor technology to measure time, energy and water use while people go about their everyday tasks like washing dishes, showering, or doing the laundry.
